Leading South Australian law firms Fox Tucker and Donaldson Walsh will soon be joining forces to form a new firm with a clear focus on service excellence – DW Fox Tucker. The new look firm will employ upwards of 80 staff and clients will benefit from the greater depth of resources and capability that the new firm will have as a result of coming together.
Former Managing Partner of Fox Tucker Joe DeRuvo said the new firm had a distinct point of difference in its specific balance of size, experience, expertise and culture.
“Both firms are of similar size and share near identical cultures and values. Combining our resources became an obvious option as both firms have complementary strengths,” Mr DeRuvo said.
“We will have the capacity and capability to handle any commercial matter of any scale or complexity yet we are committed to remain at a manageable size to maintain our predecessor firms’ value for money and down-to-earth, highly responsive service ethos.”
The firm will practice across core service areas including Commercial Law, Disputes, Tax, Workplace, Property, Intellectual Property and Technology, Insurance and Wills and Estates.
Donaldson Walsh Managing Partner John Walsh said the new firm was perfectly placed to provide a strong, cost effective and responsive alternative to the largest firms in SA and nationally.
“Both firms share a proud South Australian heritage, which the new firm will build on. Whilst we will maintain our focus on working with the local SA business community we will also continue to develop our national and international client base”.
DW Fox Tucker will officially launch in October and will be located at 100 King William Street, in the heart of the Adelaide Central Business District.
