We’re delighted to announce that two high-performing young DW Fox Tucker lawyers are today being recognised for the sustained quality of their work with internal promotions elevating them to the next level on their respective career paths.
Insurance lawyer and dust disease specialist John Chouris steps up from Senior Associate to Special Counsel, and tax specialist Amy Bishop progresses from Associate to Senior Associate.
Both lawyers have a long and impressive history with DW Fox Tucker’s predecessor firms.
John joined the DLA Philips Fox Insurance practice, headed by Partner Caroline Knight, in 2003, and has worked under her leadership ever since.
Similarly, Amy first joined her current Tax practice leader John Tucker in 2001, at Rankine Tucker, and remained with his team throughout its transition to Fox Tucker in 2010 and DW Fox Tucker in 2014.
Both practitioners are highly regarded for their technical expertise, strong work ethic and professional, yet down-to-earth manner.
While John has primarily built his outstanding reputation handling dust disease litigation for a major client who considers him an integral part of their external legal team, he also has expertise in public and product liability, personal injury, general insurance advice and liability assessment.
Likewise, Amy has many strings to her bow, complementing advanced technical tax knowledge with significant general commercial experience. This makes her a valuable contributor to all manner of corporate and commercial matters.
We offer them both our sincere thanks and congratulations.
