In insolvency matters, Helene has acted for directors, officers, and creditors in defending claims by liquidators and trustees.  She has also advised administrators, liquidators, receivers, and private trustees. Where possible, she applies her considerable talents to assisting companies and individuals that are experiencing financial distress.

Helene also has a keen interest in compulsory acquisition law and has acted for many individuals who have faced the government acquiring their privately owned land.  Through her comprehensive understanding of the complexity and sensitivity of compulsory acquisition matters, she is proud to have negotiated many successful compensation outcomes for her clients.
