Mark specialises in commercial and sports law. He has a particular interest in commercial contracting, including the drafting and renegotiation of agreements, as well as consumer protection law, sports law (specialsing in disputes and contracting matters), and digital technologies. His concurrent position with the University of Adelaide Law School sees him research, teach and present regularly on these issues to broad audiences both in Australia and abroad.

He is on various committees with the Law Council of Australia, the ACCC, and more, and is also a member of the International Association of Consumer Law and the Adelaide Law School’s Research Unit for Regulation of Commerce, Corporations, Insolvency and Taxation. Mark is Vice-President and Director of Sport SA, the peak representative body for the South Australian sporting sector, and is a leading international scholar in his areas of legal expertise.
