When this year’s prestigious Best Lawyers in Australia list was released on Friday 26 February, it once again featured a growing roll of DW Fox Tucker practitioners, including one new "Lawyer of the Year".
This is great news for our clients who reap the benefits of the experience and specialist expertise our lawyers provide and can rest assured that their legal matters are in very capable hands.
Director and head of our Employment Law practice, Ben Duggan was named as Labour and Employment Law Lawyer of the Year – Adelaide 2017.
This follows on from Sandy Donaldson being named Intellectual Property Law Lawyer of the Year – Adelaide 2016, and John Tucker being named Tax Law Lawyer of the Year – Adelaide 2014-15.
Sandy and John, together with Brett Thorneycroft and Rod Dunne were also recognised yet again in their respective areas. And, in addition to his Tax Law acknowledgement, John Tucker was also added for Wealth Management/Succession Planning Practice.
Two of our Directors were also first time additions to the list. John Walsh, who leads our Workers Compensation & Self Insurance team, was named for Occupational Health & Safety Law; while Briony Hutchens was recognised for Wealth Management/Succession Planning Practice.
The Best Lawyers in Australia list is published annually by The Australian Financial Review and is based on nominations from peers, so inclusion is highly regarded.
